Why do you think Mr. Talbot was willing to risk his own safety to help Luke?

Jen is a third child, but her stepfather is a member of the Population Police, the brutal organization devoted to discovering people like her and bringing them to a harsh justice. Discuss his character. Is he a hero, a villain, or both?

If you were Luke, would you have made the decision to accept the fake identification card from Mr. Talbot? Explain.

THE END OF THE BOOK!

We are about to finish the novel Among the Hidden and I want you to reflect on the DBQ "China's One Child Policy. Was it a good idea?" Your evaluation will include an essay, that we have prepared, incorporating both the book we read and the DBQ we have studied. The big question is, "How much control should the government have over the lives of its citizens?" You have met Luke and Jen and you have studied the situation in China.
